Art of Catering partners with Pure Catering for all future orders

It may be that “get togethers” have been adapted, avoided and even banned this year. Yet it has also brought upon a realisation; we are stronger together. We need each other more than ever.

Still, Covid has triggered an inevitable evolution, and in our case, a partnership.

I would like to introduce you all to our new friend in all things delicious, Pure Catering.

You will notice some changes to menus and how things happen (see below for the fine print), yet some things remain – reliable and beautiful catering with excellent service.

As we start to see the return of events in Brisbane, we can’t wait to show you what we can do – together.

We would love to collaborate on your next private or corporate event. Talk to our team today.

The Fine Detail:

1. Vendor setup
As all order confirmations and invoices will be generated by Pure Catering (and new ABN/company details), please let us know if you require us to complete a new vendor application

2. Cut off time for orders & changes
Please note: Cut off for orders is 4pm 2 days prior (eg. Your event is Wedneday at 7am, the cut off is 4pm Monday). Or earlier if possible as at times, we do get booked out.
Any edits or changes (including dietary requirements) must be submitted by 4pm 2 days prior to your delivery.

3. Create a new login for online ordering
Please note you will need to create a new account login online if you wish to place online orders https://www.purecatering.com.au/onlineorder.html#/

4. Covid safety
If you require individual boxing, this must be requested at the time of booking so we can create a menu that is suitable. All catering is supplied with disposable cutlery & napkins.

Please see below for our Covid safe guidelines.
Considering the ever changing global position on Covid-19, we at Pure Catering want to assure all our clients that we are taking this seriously and want to continue to provide you with our amazing catering services. We are operating under current guidelines set down by the Catering and Restaurant Association and the Retail Food Services Industry COVID Safe Plan for Caterers, issued in July 2020. A copy of this is attached for your reference.

There is no evidence that food or food packaging is a carrier for the virus. In line with our 5 star food safety rating, we will continue to ensure all products bought into and dispatched from our kitchen meet the highest of health and hygiene standards. We maintain a small operational team and none of our staff have traveled overseas and are all in good health. In line with our ongoing practices, anystaff member who is feeling unwell or showing any cold or flu symptoms is required to stay home until cleared by a medical professional. All surfaces, cooking equipment and serving ware is thoroughlycleaned and sanitised with commercial products both before and after use, with all staff having access to hand-washing and sanitizing stations.

Furthermore, no persons (supplier representatives etc) other than Pure Catering staff will be allowed to enter the premises during this ongoing crisis. The current Government position is that business should continue as usual and at Pure Catering we are endeavouring to make this happen. We have altered our menus to ensure that all items can be individually packaged to ensure the highest safety standard.

We hope these steps we have taken will help you to continue to support small, local businesses as we ride this out together.

If you are looking to create your own professional catered event, this article covers some major tips on catering for small groups. Brisbane catering platters usually include a variety of food choices catered to the preferences of the group. Considering key factors like group preferences, event size, and group size will help you to create an excellent catered event for a small group. Read more for detailed tips on catering to small groups.

What Event Are You Catering For?

The first thing to do when catering events in Brisbane is to ask yourself what event you are catering for. There are many different types of events to consider. You may be looking for simple requests such as cheese platter catering in Brisbane or an event that requires more advanced catering. If you are looking for catering for corporate events in Brisbane, you may want to think about what type of corporate environment you are entering, is it a team luncheon, or a client dinner? If you are considering small party catering in Brisbane, you may want to ask yourself if it is a celebration, a religious observance or a birthday party? Other events that commonly call for Brisbane catering are funerals and wakes, small group meetings, or special community events.

Understanding what event you are catering for is important when preparing your food. Food presentation is just as important as the taste and freshness of the food. Be sure to match your food presentation with the type of event you are catering for. A leisurely group lunch may need a different presentation style than a corporate catering group brunch. Be sure to create stations for each food selection. Include a beverage station and a separate section for small bites and snacks. Think outside of the box when creating your stations and remember that a neat and appetizing presentation is key to a well catered small event. Catering for events can be challenging, but with a great presentation, you can’t go wrong.

Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner?

What meal will you be serving? The meal and time of day can change the presentation style and the food choices at your event. If you are looking for places to order food for catering in North Brisbane, you may want to consider Art of Catering, they offer delicious options for each meal, whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, finding quality catering services can be difficult, but Art of Catering offers great options and excellent service. You can use the Art of Catering menu as inspiration. Here are a few delicious items to consider for each meal.

Breakfast: Breakfast catering in Brisbane requires hosts to consider both hot and cold buffets for breakfast. Include options like fresh fruit and hot grilled waffles. Creating buffets are great for office events or larger groups.

Lunch: For lunch, be sure to consider dietary preferences. Your lunch menu should include a selection of vegetables as well as meat options. Sandwich catering in Brisbane is very common for lunch events. Services like Art of Catering offer canape catering in Brisbane for both casual and premium events.

Dinner: Consider creative options like BBQ menus and exotic cuisines. Dinner is the perfect time to use various stations such as live carving stations and think outside of the box to impress your guests.

High Tea

High tea is a special and elegant addition to food catering in Brisbane. High tea catering brings a delightful treat to guests. Art of Catering includes delicious options like ribbon sandwiches and sweets, like cupcakes and macaroons. All of the high tea options should be highlighted with tea, coffee, or even champagne. High tea is especially recommended if you are brunch or lunch catering in Brisbane. We suggest that you get creative with your high tea selection.

Grazing Tables

Most catering companies include a stylish grazing table to present small plates and light dishes. Get creative with your grazing table. Consider including a mandala-style approach, or keep it modern and clean, the point is to create a feeling of luxury and functionality with your grazing table.

Finger food catering in Brisbane includes grazing tables with delicious cured meats and fresh artisan bread. If you are looking for catering services, order your platters from Art of Catering and you will experience meats, bread, delicious fruits, a vast selection of dessert treats, and a number of healthy options.

Guests’ Preferences

Guest preferences are very important, especially when selecting catering for your entire office. Offices include staff and event guests with a variety of dietary preferences. See our post on Catering For Special Dietary Needs. One in five Australians suffers from either food intolerance or food allergy. Vegans, nut allergies, religious diets, gluten-free, and lactose intolerance are just a few of the diet restrictions that may be present in a group. Vegan catering is completely different from a meat friendly event. Many Brisbane catering companies, like Art of Catering, offer specialised menus catering to a variety of dietary preferences.

When considering the guest’s preferences, consider the style and the demographics of the group. Some groups may be more open to trying new and exotic menu options, while others may be looking to keep it basic. Consider the budget for the event as well. Budget catering for Brisbane events can be tricky when catering to dietary preferences, but with choices like wraps and mini quiches available at Art of Catering, it’s easy for hosts to save money while keeping their guests in mind.

How Much Food To Order?

Knowing how much food to order is very important, especially when buffet catering Brisbane events. Art of Catering is a catering company in Brisbane that offers quotes and budgeting coaches to help you figure out the perfect amount of food to order for your event. When figuring out how much food to order for your event consider points like the time of the meal and the budget. Also, consider the number of people expected at the meal.

Understanding the right amount of food to order is very important, especially if you are looking for cheap catering in Brisbane. We suggest using small plates or napkins to eat from if you are looking to save money on your event. Offering a large variety of foods and a smaller quantity is also a great way to save on catering for small groups.

Also, consider the size of the space and the facilities available in the space. Check the space for a fridge or a place to store food, a stove or heating device, and set-up space for the actual event.

When: 29 June – 7 July 2019

Where: Scenic Rim

Who Should Go: Foodies of all ages

What It’s About: A celebration of farmers, producers, and artisans through cooking classes, meet and greats with farmers, demonstrations and old-fashioned hospitality.

https://www.queensland.com/en-in/event/scenic-rim-winter-harvest-festival

Scenic Rim Eat Local Week is a celebration of Queensland’s fantastic farmers and the magnificent beauty of Scenic Rim. It is a great family day giving them a chance to get out of the city. This festival is an opportunity to see cows get milked, feed sheep and chickens, get some mud between the toes, eat what’s grown nearest to you in its prime condition. It is pretty easy to get into the car and enjoy the scenic drives on the way to small country towns. High-quality produce is grown in this region which converts into wonderful hand-crafted beer and wine.

The Winter Harvest Festival

When: 6 July 2019

Where: Aratula, Scenic Rim

Who Should Go: Families who want to fill up with local food while enjoying the gorgeous scenery

What It’s About: A relaxed day where families can meet the farmers responsible for their food, taste fresh and organic produce, buy their wares and be entertained with music and fun activities all day.

https://www.queensland.com/event/scenic-rim-winter-harvest-festival

The Rhubard at your grocery store probably travels more than you do in a year so the lovely people at Scenic Rim joined hands to encourage eating all things local. With more than 60 stalls, this event is a family special with something for everyone. Kids will have no time to spare as they can get their face painted, get free rides, run around the hay maze and learn from cooking demonstrations tailored to their interest. With live music serenading all day, the young and old can go around sampling craft beers, wines, cheese, pizzas, meat, seafood, ice cream and more. Of course, a Queensland food festival would be incomplete without a Tractor-pull competition.

When booking corporate catering, it is crucial that you consider whether any of your colleagues or guests have special dietary requirements. Think about last time you ate out with them or any large group of people, and the chances are that at least one of them ordered something which should give you a clue – were they avoiding dairy, or did they ask for a gluten free option?

The chances are if you were paying attention you did notice something, as one in five Australians suffers from either a food intolerance or food allergy. Add to this is the range of voluntary diet options now popular, and it might seem like you have your work cut out accommodating everyone’s dietary needs! Luckily, we’ve already thought of this, so whatever the requirements of your group we’re sure we can provide food that’s not only fit for all but delicious too.

What Are The Common Special Dietary Requirements?

With so many people having to live with dietary restrictions, a good first step when considering your order is to learn a little about the different requirements your guests might have. You should definitely speak with the people you will be feeding before ordering to find out if they have any particular corporate catering requirements. Below are some of the most common dietary requirements in Brisbane when it comes to catering for an office event.

Gluten-free

People on a gluten-free diet could be suffering from a serious and potentially life-threatening food allergy, have a less serious but also problematic intolerance to gluten, or equally as likely could be making a diet and lifestyle choice. Celiac disease is a serious condition which affects around 1 in 70 Australians, and can in severe cases be very dangerous; though it is estimated that 4 out of 5 Australian Celiacs do not realise they have the disease. Also, many people nowadays avoid gluten simply out of choice or in the belief it will improve their health.

Gluten is found in foods produced using wheat, barley or rye, but luckily there is a wide range of delicious foods available for people on gluten-free diets, whatever the reason. From our mains, the field mushroom with burnt sage butter gnocchi and parsnip crisp is both gluten free and vegetarian, and we have a range of meat options like chermoula lamb shank with ancient grains and seeds and pomegranate glazed carrots. Our buffet and grazing options also have a range of gluten-free alternatives like our buffalo chicken portions with hot sauce, and most of our Asian Selection grazing station options are gluten-free also, so no matter how you’re dining we will have you covered.

Dairy-free

There is a wide range of reasons why people might be dairy-free, and just like gluten, they can range from life-threatening allergies to lifestyle and moral choices. People with full-blown dairy allergies react severely to the proteins in dairy, and the symptoms can come on fast and be serious. It is crucial you know if anyone you are catering for suffers from a dairy allergy. People with a dairy (or lactose) intolerance will not be affected so severely but can still experience significant discomfort if they consume dairy products. Of course, vegans will not eat dairy out of choice (although that doesn’t mean they’re not allergic or intolerant also). Dairy products are also found in a range of seemingly innocuous products like wine, beer, and even gravy.

We understand the importance of catering to these requirements. Our chicken cacciatore with mushrooms & black olives contains no traces of dairy, and nor does our sashimi tuna poke bowl with black sesame dressing, which can be adjusted to suit vegans. Both our grazing stations and our buffets are also suitable for dairy-free diets, but you should let us know if anyone has an allergy so we can prepare for this appropriately.

Vegetarian

Without a doubt the most widespread dietary requirement, which means luckily we have years experience in catering to vegetarians – and with 2.1 million Australians currently choosing a vegetarian lifestyle, there’s a very good chance you will need to provide for at least one. We have packed our menus with vegetarian options like eggplant & mozzarella saltimbocca, a twist on the more well-known chicken or veal versions, or our traditional ratatouille, which is packed full of fresh veg and is highly recommended for meat eaters alike!

Vegan

In recent years veganism has gained a lot of popularity as people opt for a diet consisting entirely of vegetable products and eschew dairy and any other product produced using meat. Considering the staggering array of products which use meat derivatives, for non-vegans it can be quite difficult to keep up with what is and is not considered vegan. We have years of experience in catering to vegans and so you don’t need to worry, as we have provided plenty of vegan options.

Our buffet menu offers Persian rice with roast seasonal vegetables, and we offer vegan alternatives for our buffalo chicken portions, chicken cacciatore and our eggplant & mozzarella saltimbocca with other options found on our grazing menus, so there should be plenty of choices.

Halal

If there’s one thing in this world that people have a tendency to remember, it’s food! Whether we’re discussing a holiday, a big meal out, and yes, even our corporate catering, it’s something that always seems to come up in conversation.

So if you’re hosting a conference, welcoming clients for lunch or thanking your team for a job well done, you know already that the quality of the catering will make a big difference to the impression you make. You don’t just want it to be okay; you want the best gourmet catering Brisbane has. If you’re stuck for ideas, below you’ll find 8 great ideas for your corporate lunch.

Corporate Lunch Catering

The nature of your event will probably define most what kind of menu you go for. You know you’re looking for the best party and corporate catering Brisbane has to offer, but you might be confused as to exactly what style of serving you should opt for.

More formal events, where you want to really impress clients, or just make it 100% clear how much you appreciate your team’s great work, might suit a plated menu. A grazing menu is ideal for more ‘social’ dos. However, definitely don’t forget the ‘humble’ buffet, a great option which not only provides your guests with a choice of great food but provides a chance to mingle and socialise.

You might be worried that you won’t be able to accommodate everyone’s tastes and dietary needs. Luckily, for mobile catering, Brisbane has a company that providing top quality, delicious food for all requirements. That’s us, by the way. Below we’ve included vegetarian and gluten-free options to help.

Asian Cuisine

Asian food has gained worldwide popularity due to its complex, exotic flavours, textures, and the dizzying variety of different dishes and treats available. Nearly everyone has their favourite Asian cuisine, and Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese restaurants have become commonplace throughout the western world.

To add a slightly more exotic twist to your corporate lunch, our Asian Selection Grazing Station is a delicious platter inspired by a wide range of Asian cuisines. It features Vietnamese rice paper rolls with a variety of different fillings, or from Japan, petit tuna sashimi & tofu poke bowls, sushi and nigiri. Also you will love our tamarind duck and Thai basil wonton cups, ‘bahn mi’ mini crostini, and incredible betel leaf with popcorn prawn dishes. Vegan and gluten-free versions are also available.

Mediterranean Feast

Mediterranean food is world-renowned and for good reason. Not only is it delicious, full of flavour and comes in endless varieties, but it is also linked to a whole range of health benefits. In the Mediterranean, any chef knows that only the best and freshest ingredients will do, and we take exactly the same approach to our catering.

Our Mediterranean Grazing Selection is full of delicious options like fresh bruschetta, a selection of cured & roast meats typical of the region, and marinated Mediterranean vegetable skewers. Also served with dried & fresh fruits, a dips suite, vegetable crudites, olives, and a cracker & crostini selection, this is not only a snacker’s dream but a healthy and low-fat option.

Cheese Tower

Cheese is the king of dairy, and a must have at any corporate event, or any dinner party worth its salt for that matter! No event feels quite complete without it. Brie, Camembert, Manchego, Comte, or Gouda … there’s no way you could settle on just one cheese, but you can be sure no one is ever disappointed with our cheese tower. Or for something a little easier to handle, our easy-serve sliced cheese platter should simplify matters.

Pasta and Rice Dishes

No menu is complete without pasta and rice, and so, of course, our menus have ample space for these staples. There’s no dish more Italian than the classic beef lasagne, and for vegetarians, we provide an equally delicious pumpkin and ricotta alternative, so no one misses out. Both vegetarians and meat eaters alike will be tempted by our decadent Mac & Cheese, made with truffle oil, mushrooms and tarragon to give it our own unique twist.

Our Persian rice served with roasted seasonal vegetables is not only a delicious and fragrant choice, but also suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, so there’s no shortage of options for those with specific dietary requirements.

Main Courses

If you’re going to be serving main courses, of course, it’s important that you make sure everyone has at least one delicious option to choose from when deciding. Below we’ve selected a few of our favourites which gives you an example of the variety of dishes and food needs you can cover.

Our slow-cooked lamb shoulder with spiced red lentils is a tender and delicious and should satisfy even the most carnivorous guest! As should our fantastic 12-hour Beef Brisket, or equally, the classic French Beef Bourguignon, stewed until melt in your mouth soft, with mushrooms in red wine. For poultry, we recommend Coq au Vin or our Chicken Saltimbocca – which also can be made with eggplant and mozzarella as a great alternative for vegetarians (vegan options are also available).

Vegetarians could also choose our ricotta and semi-dried tomato roasted field mushrooms or our traditional ratatouille, also gluten free and vegan-friendly.

Live Carving

For those of us that love meat, there is undoubtedly something uniquely tempting about seeing a freshly roasted joint. There is nothing quite like freshly roasted beef or lamb, and the surest sign of how freshly your meat has been prepared is to see it steaming as it is carved right in front of you. That’s why we recommend live carving for your corporate event, which is not only mouthwatering to see and delicious to eat but adds an element of spectacle which is certain to impress.

Dessert

You should definitely consider including a dessert. I’m sure we don’t need to tell you why! Our hazelnut and chocolate mousse tart, served with double cream, is a perfect and decadent end to a great lunch! A slightly lighter (and also available Gluten free) option is the strawberry & white chocolate cheesecake, served with a fresh strawberry coulis as a fruity accompaniment. Talking of which, our seasonal fruit compote, served with coconut yoghurt and a gingernut & walnut crumb is also fruity and light and is suitable for vegans too.

What Is A Corporate Event & Where Do I Start?

Work related events can include a variety of different aspects of a business and starting to create or plan one is as easy as figuring out the type of event you’re interested in hosting. Knowing that there are various types of corporate functions is a major key to figuring out what you’ll do for yours. As someone who is planning one, you might be in charge of a lot depending on what you decide to do for yours, including but not limited to the following:

Team Building or Leadership Retreats

Meetings

Product Launches

Employee Training

Trade Shows

Seminars

Focus Groups

Sales Meetings

Special Business Anniversary Celebrations

Board Retreats

Dinners & Awards Ceremonies

Holiday Parties

Corporate Hospitality & Client Entertaining

User Events & Conferences

Various Other Milestones

While you might be able to take on the event planning yourself, there are some other options that companies tend to go with. One of the popular options is to hire an event planning company. With one of these companies, the difficult work is taken out of the equation to allow for the simplistic decisions to be made by you (or whoever is in charge) while the planning company does the legwork. Another option some people tend to go with is having a person or even an entire department on hand to handle any event planning the company might need. If the company is a larger company that hosts numerous events, there might even be a team in charge of handling these responsibilities regularly.

Why Hold an Event?

There are various reasons to have a corporate event and they’re all valid. So whether you’re looking to change the way your customers view the business or trying to motivate some serious press coverage, there really is no wrong answer. Holding a successful event is going to take a lot of working parts but ultimately, it’s going to pay off in the end. With this being said, there are numerous other reasons to have a corporate event, so let’s go over them.

Some people opt to host their event for the purpose of making a single person happy. This person, obviously, is usually their boss. When the boss is happy, the employees are happy, and if there is a chance for something good to come your way as a result of hosting a successful business- related event, that’s all the more reason to make it happen. With this being the case, making the boss happy is not the only reason to work towards hosting a successful event.

There are times that hosting can become appealing because of all it can do for marketing efforts. When you do a function the right way, it has the potential to go as far as creating press coverage! At the very least, you’re looking at some serious social media coverage stimulation, bringing numerous eyes to the business and making the company look good. A successful event also has the potential to provide some support to some of your line marketing activities as well, making it even more appealing.

A successful corporate function also has the potential to change customers’ perceptions of the business. For example, if this is a used car lot and you’re hosting a BBQ in honor of veterans, you’re going to assist in molding the customers’ perceptions of the business in a way that shows it as a business that cares about the people protecting their customers. Ultimately, this can alter the perception your hiring manager molded last month when he was on the local news for assaulting a customer, showcasing that a successful corporate event can be a serious miracle worker when it comes to changing the perception customers have of the business.

Hosting a successful event can also impact employees at all levels of the business in a positive manner as well. From assisting in getting the entire team to bond to motivating your sales personnel, you’ll find that hosting a successful function can have an impact with ripples that are felt throughout the company. Some people even use events for the purpose of entertaining their managers and executives. With so many positive impacts being derived from hosting a successful event, it’s no wonder why so many businesses opt to put forth their own efforts at one.

Making Goals

First and foremost, when making the goals for your event, you’re going to want to make sure that they are closely related to what the company needs. This means focusing on the company’s mission and economic health. Once these considerations are taken, you’ll want to make sure that the function is going to satisfy some need of the company. Whether the company needs to unite its employees, motivate and reward its managerial staff, or impress upper-level employees, these considerations need to be considered as you plan. With this in mind, it is recommended to write down your goals to allow yourself to keep them in your thoughts as you continue planning.

Setting Your Budget

Setting a budget is going to have a major impact on how your planning goes. This is the money you’re allocating for the entirety of the event and before you begin making decisions, you’re going to want to come up with a realistic budget to adhere to. Knowing your budget will either limit you or provide you with the freedom you’re looking for as you plan your event. With this being the case, setting your budget and sticking to it is imperative to your event’s success as it is virtually impossible to make any decisions pertaining to the event without having a budget in place.

While making your budget, there are a few things you’ll want to consider. Knowing how much you are capable of spending and how much you’d like to spend will definitely come in handy, but you’ll also want to consider how much you’ll need to spend. If your company’s pockets are limitless, your options are endless. But if you find that your company needs to craft a budget that is simply for the essentials, then you’ll have to think about the costs associated with your function. This can involve conducting some research on what you need and how much you can expect to spend. There are times that the event might not even be possible as a result of the lack of a proper budget. With this in mind, knowing what kind of budget you have to work with is a major step to take prior to planning.

Choosing The Location

Once you have a budget, you’ll know how much money you’re working with. At this point, you’ll want to choose a location. While some people opt to host their event at their office or on company grounds, those with a more extravagant budget have the option to choose another place to have it. With this in mind, if you have the budget for it, you’ll want to find the perfect place to have your party. As you choose the location, there are several things you should consider, including:

Can we afford to have the event here?

The cost of the venue is ultimately going to play a role in whether or not you’re going to be able to host your event there. While having a bigger budget definitely increases options, it doesn’t always mean spending more money will provide you with the right kind of location.

Is the location appropriate for the event?

Some venues can be incredibly loud or quite the opposite. If you’re hosting a dance party, you’re likely going to want to host it at a nightclub or in an auditorium with a dance floor. But if you find that you’re going to be having a meeting that you’ll need a quiet atmosphere, you might want to find a different location.

Is the location convenient for the guests to travel to?

Distance is definitely going to play a role in choosing the location because some people are not going to want to travel far to attend the gathering. Keeping your guests in mind, make sure you choose a location that your guests will be willing to travel to.

Does the location have everything needed for the event?

There are times in which an event is planned at a place without taking the needs of the event into consideration. Knowing that the location will have enough outlets, a microphone to speak to guests, etc. is imperative when choosing a location, so it is important to keep these things in mind as you plan.

Brisbane council are doing their best to make event planning in the city as easy as possible, they’ve put together a pretty solid directory of venues in Brisbane, popular with business functions. Find it here: http://brisbaneeventplanner.com.au/Listings/Venues

Deciding On A Theme

While not all successful business functions have a theme, deciding on whether or not it will have one is important for it. If you decide to have a theme, it is important to make sure it radiates throughout the entirety of the party. A theme is a great way to provide your guests with the entertainment they need to feel comfortable. It has the potential to really open up your guests to one another, allowing them to have the good time you’re hoping everyone has. With this being the case, there are a few things to consider when coming up with a theme:

Understanding your audience means knowing precisely what they expect from you. If your audience is going to be full of people who are rather serious, choosing an appropriate theme for them is going to be a major key in winning them over. While themes can be fun, there is nothing worse than incorporating an inappropriate theme as this has the potential to embarrass you, your company, and your guests.

Conduct some research to find out what kinds of themes previous events within your company had. This can provide you with the insight you need to find an appropriate theme that will entertain your guests. Furthermore, this will make sure that you don’t use a theme that the company used in the past, boring your guests and embarrassing yourself in the process.

Choose a theme that stands out. By choosing a brilliant theme, you’ll assist your guests in creating some memories that they’ll never forget. These memories will be linked to the purpose of your event, making it a successful corporate event in the fact that you are getting your guests to enjoy themselves while taking away what you’re looking to give them.

Going Over The Catering Options

With any successful corporate event, you’re going to want to incorporate catering. This being said, there are various options for catering and it is important to impress the guests. When you put forth your best food through catering, you’re concreting the event in the attendees’ minds, ensuring an extremely successful corporate event. There are various options when it comes to catering your company function and understanding them is ultimately going to help in your pursuit of success in this venture.

Private Chef

Hiring a private chef is one of the better catering options if you’re hosting a corporate event that is rather close-knit. With this in mind, a private chef is going to be able to create the fresh meals you want to provide your guests. This assists in creating an upscale vibe that ultimately will contribute to making your guests feel beyond welcome. A great aspect of hiring a private chef for the catering is that you’ll be able to suit any dietary preferences the guests might have as well, allowing a totally customizable menu that is prepared fresh! Have a read through some more handy tips for hiring a pro caterer for your shindig here.

Interactive Gourmet Food

With the popularity of gourmet food skyrocketing, it’s easy to see that any successful corporate event is going to incorporate it into the catering options. One of the most raved about options is the Hibachi station, but no one can say no to fresh sushi! With interactive gourmet food catering, you’re going to find that you’ll get the level of sophistication you’re looking for at your corporate gathering, ultimately adding to and enhancing it in a way that your guests will surely appreciate.

Buffet Style

Everyone loves good buffet style catering at a corporate event, making this one of the better catering options you can go with. An important factor here is to make sure you’re hiring good food catering for the event. There is nothing worse than a cold and stale buffet, making it important to know of successful corporate events that the company has catered for with their buffet style option. If you need some menu inspiration, check out our set menus here.

Mixologists/Adult Beverages

Having a professional bartender on hand to make incredible mixed signature drinks crafts an unforgettable atmosphere at corporate events. Some people opt to hold classes teaching their employees how to craft these drinks, but going a bit further to simply provide these tasty adult beverages to your guests is going to bring forth a level of satisfaction and comfort that can result in a successful professional function like no other.

Niche Snackage

Choosing to go with niche snacks for your catering is going to bring some happiness to your guests. With these snacks, you might spend a little more money, but the impact they’ll have on your guests is immense. Presenting niche options at a corporate event can result in countless pictures and shares on social media as well, making it so choosing to have the unique pretzel bar or the slider bar a major upgrade to any event.

Choosing Activities For The Guests To Enjoy

While the venue you choose might have the activities already included, if it doesn’t, you’re going to have to come up with some interesting activities to keep the guests entertained. Ultimately, the activities you include are going to depend on the purpose of your corporate event. Here is a list of corporate events and some activities you could include.

Team Building Event

If you’re working with a team-building event, you’re going to want to incorporate some fun team building activities to place emphasis on the importance of coworkers. With this being the case, these activities will be focused on teamwork. For instance, some activities you can include are relay races, trust falls, office trivia, community service, or even a campfire.

Customer Appreciation Event

Hosting a customer appreciation event means highlighting the company’s love for the customers. If the customers have children, it’s nice to have something for them, such as face painting or a clown. The option for the customers to have fun is also available, with contests, giveaways, and even raffles being tremendous motivators of fun for adults.

Employee Motivation Event

Corporate events that place emphasis on the employees having fun are always a good time. The activities you can include in your event vary, but some great examples include kayaking, horseback riding, Segway experiences, or having a disco yoga event.

These activities will depend of course on the size of your group. You could also incorporate an activity prior to the main event. Brisbane has plenty of cool teambuilding activites perfect for this type of occasion – Here’s a solid list to get you started.

Promoting The Event

While expecting everyone to show up to your event is somewhat unreasonable, making sure everyone knows about the event is definitely something you’ll want to do. Fortunately, the era we live in encourages communication in various ways across a multitude of platforms, facilitating the spreading of information that can certainly include information regarding your corporate event. Hosting a successful corporate event means successfully promoting it, meaning you’ll want to take advantage of numerous medians and outlets to get your information out to the masses.

One of the most popular ways to promote is through social media. It’s a fast method and easy to reach countless people through its utilization, making it one of the best methods around. You can share the party publicly if it is open to everyone or privately via private message if you’re only interested in inviting certain people. Regardless of which you choose, various social media platforms will facilitate the process of getting your promotion in front of the eyes you’re looking for.

Another option is to print out invitations. While this is a retro method, it definitely works. If you have your guests’ addresses, that’s ideal, but the invitations could get lost in the mail. Handing the invites out in person is also a good idea. If your company has mailboxes for employees, that can also work.

If the party is going to be open to the public, finding sponsors is also a good idea. Sponsors can get the word out to anyone who is paying attention to them, expanding your reach as far as they reach (and perhaps even further!). This has the potential to give your event the free publicity you’re looking for while ensuring the sponsorship obtains the publicity that it’s looking for from your guests. Ultimately, this will be a win-win for all parties involved and it’s as easy as reaching out in search of a sponsorship.

Having The Successful Corporate Event You’re Dreaming Of

While this might be your first time planning a corporate event, there is no reason why it should not become the successful corporate event that you’re hoping for. Even if you’re a total newbie at hosting corporate events, it is definitely possible to ensure that everything is going to go in your favor as you plan this event.
ARIA Brisbane compliments a new level of fine dining experiences to the Brisbane dining scene. The breathtaking view of the Brisbane River will lure most but the food equals the ambiance. The double-clothed tables don’t betray the restaurant’s intentions to be among the finest dining experiences anywhere in Brisbane. With a mainly contemporary Australian cuisine, the Roast rack with lamb bacon, sweetbreads, peas, and buttermilk is said to be the ‘must have’ dish. A comprehensive wine list and a dessert menu second to none will leave most Brisbane diners baying for more.

Urbane

Brisbane’s only three-hatted restaurant while losing its executive chef, Alejandro Cancino, resides in a quiet corner of Brisbane’s CBD. With its dimmed lighting and an ambiance of intimate yet casual dining, it combines substantial courses and deserts with a premier wine list.

Urbane restaurant must have the most solid reputation in Brisbane. Urbane is known throughout Australia, let alone Brisbane. Specializing in European and Asian cuisine you can dine Bistro style or go for the fine dining. The repertoire is far-reaching. It also has a novel menu system, proposing both Herbivore and Omnivore menu sets.

The restaurant interior is pleasing on the eye which can be enjoyed while trying one of the European or Australian wines from the comprehensive list. Situated in the Business District of Brisbane, if it suits your taste, this restaurant is not to be missed. There’s a reason it wins awards and is considered to be Brisbane’s finest diner.

Whether you’re saving to buy a house, you’ve blown your entire savings, you’re on a student’s budget, or you just blew almost all of your money on the recent holiday trips, the bottom line is that you are broke. But this does not mean that you need to take out a loan to feed yourself. No! There are plenty of cheap eats in Brisbane, like Eat Street Markets, and we’ve rounded up some of the best for you.

Affordable and Tasty Eats in Brisbane

There are hotels offering big eats at $15 or less. Here are some of the cheap bites to check in:

Bird’s Nest Yakitori & Bar

Located in South Brisbane & Fortitude Valley, this is a perfect place to be when you are feeling a pinch in the pocket. The restaurant serves Japanese fare, and you will definitely love the quality of their dishes. This place is famous for their crunchy chicken. Their prices are very friendly going as low as $12 but don’t mistake their pricing with compromised quality. Yakitori translates to “grilled bird” thus you can only guess what they do. With an extensive menu of umeshu, sake and other Japanese Spirits, it’s an ideal spot for a Saturday night.

Mrs. Luu’s Vietnamese Canteen

One thing that you will love about the Vietnamese cuisine is their affordability. You can have lunch, dinner or take out. Most of the ingredients are easily available locally and on the street, thus the reason they are cheap in most places in the Brisbane dining scene. Mrs. Luu’s Vietnamese Canteen is one of the best places that you can spend less for more. Keeping in line with the street-food pricing, their noodles and rice bow comes at only $11. If you love banh mi, it will only cost you $7.50. You can find one of the branches in 15 Thompson St, Bowel Hills.

Jai Thai

Located on Sherwood Road, Toowong, this is another eatery where you can find a cheap quality meal for cheap. Just check out this food joint, and you’ll find some flavoursome menus of both modern and traditional foods. You will also love the venue, especially the wide open windows opening out to the vibrant Toowong strip. You will find prawn rice, green, yellow, panang and massaman curry on their menu. Their food goes as low as $10.

Botanica

The eatery is best known for the vast range of greeneries in their salads. With just $10, you enjoy a nice and healthy lunch or dinner at this spot. Botanica has earned a reputation in Brisbane as one of the healthiest spots to buy a meal due to its green products. The locale only sells take outs for you to finish cooking at home. The eatery is found in Red Hill and 20 Dogget Street, Teneriffe.

Govinda’s

This is a favourite eatery for vegans and vegetarians in Brisbane. The eatery not only serves cheap food but delicious and healthy dishes. Their menu boasts a variety of vegetables and is almost entirely vegetarian. It’s located in the CBD and has been in operation for more than two decades. They serve lunch and dinner, but you can get anything in between if your stomach is grumbling. They sell everything from vegetable curry, papadums, dahl, and koftas at the cost of $12.90.

The Fox Hotel

Last but not the least on the list is the Fox Hotel. Located on Hope St, South Brisbane, the eatery provides good food as well as good times. Fox provides a vast menu including cold drinks, burgers, wings, goat cheese and smoked pork amongst other delicacies for as low as $10. Just check in you’ll love the quality of their dishes.
